Had a contractor call me the other day and order a quart of a color, he took the quart went and painted the entire door and then realizes the color was slightly off from the original color he was trying to match. He then calls demanding a free quart and I refused and told him “you didn’t think for one second to stop painting when the color looked different or call me to see if I can fix it” I then asked him if he did a sample of it to see if it matched he then said “why didn’t you tell me that?” I didn’t think that needed to be said lmao being that it’s common sense and a best practice.

He also gave me the spiel about how he’s been painting for 30 years and buys so much and yada yada yada.
