Can you drop equipment?

Haven't seen it in any streams I've watched, but is there any way to drop guns, grenades, and traversal/utility equipment that you've acquired?

Like let's say I have a full 4 item inventory, but then I get whatever the artifact is called that gives more bonus to (I think it was movement speed?) the fewer items you have. Is there any way to drop stuff, like if I'd rather have more bonus from the artifact than a secondary weapon?

Has GSG discussed variety of mission objectives or cave layouts?

Basically, title. I know during some GSG streams, the team has briefly discussed it a few times, but was wondering if anyone knows if they plan to pursue more variety in mission objectives or cave layouts?

I've watched a bunch of GSG streams, but haven't heard anything concrete about either of these (although there's a good chance I may have missed it). I know its been talked about very briefly on stream a few times, like I think Jacob mentioned a while back that most cave generation was like "pearls on a string, not spokes on a wheel" at the time.

I love DRG, and I love roguelikes. I have thousands of hours in DRG, but most roguelikes only a few hundred, even great ones. I feel like the mission variety in DRG is a huge part of that. I'm sure if DRG was just like, some mining missions in a row followed by a dreadnaught, it wouldn't have the longevity that it does for me (yea I know that's an absolute garbage analogy for what Rogue Core is).

I know the devs have confirmed or pretty much confirmed that they are going to add more weapons, upgrades, side/expenite objectives, and enemy types, and probably classes, but I haven't heard much of anything about mission objectives or cave layouts. All the stuff they mentioned will increase the longevity of Rogue Core, but I feel like more mission types and more variety in cave generation would make more of an impact, for me at least. I know in DRG those are the things I look forward too most in updates.

Also, not having some kind of pipe-riding would be criminal 😛. That shit is still amazing.
