Scam : Any leads to find the guy will be rewarded
Title: UPI Scam ₹9,594 while buying USDT – scammer confident Indian system won’t catch him
I got scammed ₹9,594 via UPI while trying to buy USDT from a seller online.
After payment:
- No USDT was sent
- He kept delaying with fake excuses like “energy issue”, “wrong code”, etc.
- Sent meaningless error screenshots
- Avoided calls completely
I provided both:
- TRC20 address
- Trust Wallet address
Still nothing.
What shocked me most:
👉 He acted like complaints won’t affect him and that the system won’t do anything.

- UPI ID used: jaykapatel007-6@oksbi
-Number : +91 79843 78016
- Name shown: Jay Manojbhai Kapatel
- Amount: ₹9,594
I have already:
- Reported to bank
- Filed complaint on cybercrime.gov.in
- Submitted all proofs (chat + payment)
I don’t have much hope of recovery, but posting this so others don’t fall into the same trap.
⚠️ Avoid dealing with random crypto sellers over UPI.
Use only trusted exchanges or escrow.
If anyone has faced similar scams or has advice on recovery, please comment.

Even he called me in whatsapp and challanged me to file complaint with officials like no one can catch him and he is safe 😢
