I didn’t think any delivery service could be worse than Door Dash, but Grub Hub proved me wrong.

I live in a very populated area, so driver availability across all these apps isn’t an issue. I also tip 30-40% every time I place an order, so it isn’t an issue with being a douchebag zero tipper.

I used Door Dash for several years, but the terrible service and increased fees, along with a ton of Dashers refusing deliveries that don’t pay absurd tips pushed me away.

I decided a couple of weeks ago to give Grub Hub a try. I signed up for plus membership too. My first order, no issues and it was ridiculously fast. After that, 8 consecutive orders I had to cancel due to the order never being picked up, or the location not confirming the order. It wasn’t me being impatient either, I waited 1-1.5 hours beyond the end of the delivery window each time.

Today I placed an order that was actually picked up and delivered pretty quick, so I was happy. Then I opened my food. One item missing, and the pie expired two days ago. I contacted support, and talked to an actual person. They told me they were unable to do anything because I had too many refunds on my account.

Excuse me? 100% of those refunds were a result of cancellations because the orders were either never confirmed or picked up. I don’t understand how that’s relevant, or why a cancellation works against you. What the actual fuck?

I cancelled my membership and have no reason to ever give them another chance. I hope all these shitty services put themselves out of business. They get worse by the minute.

I have a perfect repayment history here, and I sniff out scammers instantly, because the money I request here isn’t worth reaching desperation levels over.

I posted a loan request a little bit ago, and a user named u/caffeinatedfrostbite replied on the post asking me to DM him, which I did. Rather than offer me a loan, he wanted me to sign up for a remote job. He also has his post and comment history blocked.

I blocked him, but wanted to make others aware.

My mom used to ride horses a lot, but hasn’t done so in close to 20 years. The only thing she wants for Mother’s Day is to go ride a horse on the beach. There is a company that offers this, but my siblings are unable to pitch in due to timing. I just want to do something amazing for her since she’s done so much for me.

I have previously received two loans here, and both were paid back on time. Will provide any verification required.

I don’t live in VB anymore, but I just randomly thought about a guy I used to see a lot. He would dress up like Jesus, cross and all, and just camp out for hours along VB blvd.

Is he still around? Anyone know what his story is? I never heard whether he was a religious fanatic, or if it was a mental health issue.
