IQ 2 Charger ‘Safe mode’

IQ 2 Charger ‘Safe mode’

There is new information I’ve never noticed before on the app, “Charging at 12A : Safe mode”. I can’t find anything in settings, in or around the Green Charging settings to adjust this, and a google search has turned up nothing. Until a couple days ago, the green charging function would charge my car at the full available excess solar after the house battery was charged and above the house loads, minus a few hundred watts buffer to the grid. Anybody know what’s going on here?

It’s all over a deodar cedar duff and weeds area of my front yard. Has purple but not splotchy-purple stems, has striations in it but not deep, quite hairless but very tiny ‘sticky’ hairs, leaves look like hemlock or Queen Anne’s Lace, not like photos I’ve seen of Cow Parsley, taproots smell mildly like carrot. I have mowed over this stuff a ton (along with tell tale Queen Anne’s lace (hairy stems, no purple, carroty root smell)), and haven’t died, so maybe not hemlock. Give it to me straight, what do I have here?

I’m what one might accurately describe as unemployed, as well as a networking noob, but I’m happy to report that with a few iterations on Fusion360, a set of laser cut steel uprights from SendCutSend, some 10-32 screws and 1/2” square tube from McMaster-Carr, thousands of dollars of fabrication tools, and an absurd amount of time tapping holes, and trying remember how to weld, you too can have a rack exactly the size of your available closet space.

I have an 11” deep shelf, with just over 18” vertical clearance, and got 10Us of capacity. I’m planning on converting a modem to rack mount and adding that, adding a managed switch, using a U or 2 for a HomeAssistant - home server/ NAS, and an extraction fan à la AC Infinity, leaving the remaining bays as vent panels, unless I need them in the future.
