We believe someone at my job sent this, but we’re smart not to use their phone from the employee lookup
Update: we couldn’t figure it out and like so many of you said, it seems to be a TextNow number. Definitely no biggie though because I’m gonna quit soon! Thank you for y’all’s help 🫶🏾

So I’m in a bit of a sticky situation. I started at this AYCE Sushi place back in February and it’s been…interesting. Recently a situation has came up and I’m feeling very uneasy.
I struggle with my mental health and I recently have came to terms with a SA that happened so it’s been all over the place. I missed a few days, but the AGM knew and he has been okay with it. Last week I dropped a shift and one of the hosts messaged me asking why I hadn’t been there and what’s going on (which is a first) i respectfully told her it wasn’t her concern and that our AGM knew. I also put in our group chat that I felt like it was unprofessional to interrogate servers. Literally after posting that, I received this message:
“Bitch you need to kill yo self
already tf fake ass mental
health ass bitch you been
making excuses like tf like
either kill youself or stfu bitch
you annoy asf hoe”
Of course after I received that, I immediately put it in the groupchat and the hosts tells me is wasn’t her, but proceeded to delete the entire chat. Of course, the manager has been made aware, and is doing an investigation, but as far as I know nothing has came up.
Since then, I’ve asked my manager if I could have some time off to get my MH under control and he said yes.
Early yesterday morning I received a message at 4 in the morning from an unknown number asking if I was ok. I asked who it was and never got a response. I then asked if they couldn’t answer me back, not to text back. They said “haha too easy, blocked” I had realized it was our bartender. I private messaged him in our scheduling app and asked why didn’t he tell me who he was. He proceeded to go off on me and told me I was insane and that I probably messaged myself that for attention.
I’m literally at a loss. This has never happened to me at any restaurant I worked at. In fact, all the jobs I’ve worked at have been understanding of my MH and my peers always made me feel welcome. I don’t know what I even did.
What do I do? I have an interview for a new restaurant opening up, but that’s not until the 19th.
