Would love honest feedback from anyone running estimates in the field, what’s still painful in your current process?

I'm building an AI tool for skilled trades that automates the proposal-generation step contractors lose hours to. Cuts hours of paperwork per bid and replaces a workflow most contractors actively dislike.

Where things stand:

MVP fully deployed in production. Web + PWA, voice + text intake, full edit surface, exports, multi-user permissions. 1 contractor running it and validating the core loop. Solo founder. Pre-revenue, no outside funding yet. Looking for a co-founder who owns top-of-funnel — outbound, content, lead-gen, demo qualification. I stay on product, demos, and close.

Strongly preferred: vertical SaaS or trade-services sales/marketing background. Cold outreach is the engine right now; inbound comes later.

Split: You own: outbound process, ICP iteration, content, demo qualification. I own: product, AI/infra, demos, close, customer success.

Reality check: Sweat equity, no salary until we hit meaningful MRR or close an angel round. Meaningful co-founder equity, 4-year vest, 1-year cliff. Negotiable on time + contribution.

Full-time ideal; 20+ hrs/week minimum to be a real co-founder. Remote-friendly with real overlap. USA preferred. Operating with urgency.
