So my girlfriend and I are going to Australia in a few months on a Work & Travel visa and will stay there for about a year. My girlfriend is currently on birth control, not only for contraception but also for hormonal/health reasons.

The thing is, we don’t really want to bring a whole year’s supply with us. Birth control also has to be stored below 36°C, and if it gets hotter than that, it would be a shame to throw away 12 packs.

So we were wondering if it’s possible to get a prescription in Australia as a Work & Traveller.

Did this as a little side project. Got decent cargo space underneath. I built it with plywood boards, sanded them and stapled some fleece to it to prevent splinters. Ofc there‘s gonna be a mattress on top as well. I can remove the front board and put it on top of the others so i can fold my seats back up and hit the road. It’s not pretty but i just wanted to build something cheap that works. Total cost was about 50 bucks. Total length is 180cm on the driver side and 203cm on the passenger side. Let me know what you think.

I bought an Elops speed 500 about one and a half years ago. My bottom bracket broke within half a year of use and i got it fixed through warranty. After about 2 months it was broken again and i got it fixed again. A few months ago i could hear it cracking again while riding and i changed it myself today. When i opened my bike up i was surprised to find loads of grime, dirt and sand. I dont know what they did when they replaced it but they definitely did something wrong. Never buying a bicycle again from decathlon.
