What’s going on in The World Bank India office? It seems like there is no country director, and the interim one seems to be removing all country staff possible. The power autonomy and career development specially for country staff has been severely diluted. I can’t even recall how many people have left or have been fired. Folks who have been here have told me that it has never been this bad and that the CMU has horribly mismanaged relations with the government, and are now acting out in the country Office to save their Jobs . My promotion has been postponed, and I’m not sure if I’ll even stick around in the bank if there is no future . Does anyone know what’s going on?
