I had all 4 of my wisdom teeth extracted last week. Upon waking up my lips and chin were completely numb.

The morning after my surgery one side of my lips and chin went back to normal. Still one side of my lip and chin are numb (the side where my tooth was impacted). He said he might leave some of my tooth in there if it was too close to the nerve, but ended up taking it all outThey tingle, burn and feel heavy, but they are still numb.

The surgeon said the surgery went well, but I’m still really concerned that this is never going to go away. Has anyone else dealt with this?
