Should I have a full plan of what to get if I want patchwork tattoos?

Hi! I (23F) have wanted tattoos for a while. I can’t commit to placements or specific tattoos (I know I definitely want 3-4 of them but can’t figure out the rest). Should I plan what I want or is just starting the best idea?

I’ll attach inspo here, lmk if these are stereotypical or generally awful I haven’t done much research
