I'm new to irrigation. Is a watering cart worth it for a small nursery?

I own a small plant out of my backyard. Maybe 200 pots in total. Right now I'm watering everything with just hose and a stick. Takes me about an hour to do that every morning. My back is starting to feel it.

I've been looking at watering carts online. The ones with the tank and pump and spray bar on the back. Seems like it could save me lot of time but I'm not sure.

A local seller wants like $1800 for one. Then I saw something similar on Alibaba for about $400 plus shipping. Thats a huge difference. Is the cheap one gonna fall apart after a month? Or am I just paying for the name? Sorry if this is a dumb question. I'm pretty new to all this.

I don't want any fancy thing. Just something that holds water and sprays it without me walking around for an hour.

Also do I need a special license or something to tow one of these? I have a small tractor. Just a little Kubota. I'm not sure if it can handle the weight.

Does anyone here use a watering cart for a small operation? Is it worth the money or should I just keep doing the job with my hand? Thanks for any advice. I really appreciate it.

Launching the MVP was easy. Getting the first users wasn't.

Built a tiny SaaS that summarizes support tickets using Next.js + Supabase. MVP took ~12 days. Launched expecting traffic… got ~5 visits/day the first week, mostly friends and a couple Indie Hackers clicks.

Started submitting to directories instead of waiting on Product Hunt. TinyLaunch sent ~35 visits, MicroLaunch ~18, and "There's An AI For That" surprisingly sent ~40. I batch-submitted to ~30 over two weeks.

Traffic went from ~5/day to ~120/day and I got the first 3 signups. The directory list I used came from FounderToolkit. Curious what directories actually sent real users for others.

GUYS!!! I just leveled up my garden game and I am OBSESSED!!!

I just scored the biggest win of my whole week: I finally got a watering cart. And wow, what a game-changer. Sure, maybe it’s just a tank on wheels, but honestly? It feels like pure magic to me.

Dragging a heavy, constantly-tangling hose around the yard used to leave me sweaty and sore. But today, I shot through my garden like I had wings. It actually felt fun, like I was a garden fairy making sure everyone got a drink. My plants? They’re living their best lives. I’m pretty sure I even caught my hydrangeas doing a happy wiggle.

I ended up browsing Alibaba for cute garden stuff afterwards, feeling seriously thankful for these little inventions that make caring for our plants so much easier. And honestly, if you watered even one plant today, you’re a legend. Helping something grow is its own kind of superpower, and you’re nailing it.

Let’s keep the good vibes rolling! What tiny tool or trick made your day a little better? No win is too small for a happy dance or some sparkles. Keep those plants hydrated, keep smiling, and don’t forget to bloom exactly where you’re planted.
