I have a big pickup now and thinking of getting a Maverick and selling the Silverado. On the side I do grocery delivery. The Silverado gets 13-14 MPG and is killing me in gas. Is anyone else using the Maverick for delivery? The back seat in the one I am looking at when folded up does not have a flat floor but has a raised area with compartments - I assume they are all like this? What do you do to transport? Is there anything I can do to make this flush or maybe a seat extender for more space to cover the gap? I like to put everything inside if I can I am not sure how customers would feel about me hauling much in the bed? Maybe drinks back there? Any info would be great or anything you use to make this the best possible?

I just started and did one trip today that I had time for. I am doing this just for a side gig in addition to my regular work. I have a pickup mainly that I would do order with. Does anyone have any advice for someone using a pickup? I know it is not economic right now with gas.

Next is it ok to leave orders at the door even if there are no instructions vs knocking and having the customer come out? Of course with a picture provided etc.

Lastly is there any pros or cons to taking shopping orders vs pickup orders? In my area all the pickup orders seem to be huge multiple trip deals that do not interest me because of time and miles.
