Stop complaining

Idk about you guys but throwing on some good ole Fleetwood Mac and Pink Floyd while rolling through the hills and valleys of Arkansas delivering packages/ groceries for 30+ an hour at sunset is awesome. I don’t see what there is to complain about here when it comes to these new “updates”. Pretty much just a skill issue if you can’t press a button faster than Joe Schmo over here in his Honda civic. You guys need to stop complaining or give it up completely for someone else to enjoy.

What was the point of introducing the tier system only to then shunt every driver into a first-come, first-served scramble?

I’m legitimately confused…I thought one of the main perks of chasing sapphire was to get priority on orders — presumably that would mean “just for you” offers that are tailored to the types of orders you’d normally accept.

Instead, we get this insane FCFS race to click accept that seemingly every driver is forced to participate in. What the hell is the point of trying to maintain good metrics if it’s just a mad crush of people all seeing the same offers at the same time?

This is a new low for Spark, for sure, just baffling decisions to drive people away from the service.

First two weeks of spark.

Made some insane amount of money. (Can't post amounts) but just wondering when the honeymoon phase ends?.... I dont want it to end 😭

EDIT: I have only been taking offers that are 4$ a mile. (Because of drive back to Walmarts) Nothing that is estimated for 30$ an hour or lower.

Example 30$ for 10 is instant decline or 15$ for 30 minutes estimated is instant decline. (Because after drive back its under 30$ an hour, and estimates can be wrong)

Mostly getting all my trips from JFYs. Guessing the newbies are taking all the good ones from the vets based on the posts here. The FCFS do dissappear in a blink of an eye but if you just pretend its a staring contest you can get some good ones!

I get offers from 5 walmarts and one sams club at once so the FCFS can be hard to swipe through but I just decline all the bad ones as they come in but leave two so I can scroll (idk why but my app locks up on offers and wont let me scroll unless I move my finger up and down a bunch unless i leave two up)

We dont have the new metric system in my area yet but I have done 106 trips 99% on time 98% completion rate 5.0 Customer rating 99% Quantity Found

Worst Sunday in years thanks to this FCFS bullshit

Apparently one minute to review an order before accepting was deemed too luxurious. “First come first serve” on new orders seems to be the new regime.

Now whether you’re driving around a tight curve, washing your hands in the bathroom, or even totally ready to accept an offer, you have to drop everything you’re doing and just click accept to have hopes of getting something. Atrocious update. Now we’re less safe, more desperate, and feeling more hostile to other Sparkers. Total trash change.

Don’t understand what kind of f**kery is this? What would you have done in this situation?

Happened to me 4 times from yesterday and today. 4 orders were cancelled even when I accepted the offer and was in the parking lot waiting for the Walmart associate to bring the order. Twice order got cancelled while I was going to the curbside pickup side & by the time i reach there, order gets cancelled and twice order got cancelled while I even had parking spot number inserted on the app. When I felt suspicious and asked to the Spark driver team, they said the associate mentioned the reason for the cancellation was because of driver no-show when I was literally at the pickup location. The lady then said they are going to escalate the issue and resolve this issue which I have no hope tbh is next level. But this is just something out of ordinary that someone would cancel the order for absolutely no freaking reason.

What would you guys do in this situation?

Non-driver looking for input

We get groceries delivered once a week. I always t!p because I genuinely do appreciate the service y’all are providing. However, today is the first time I’ve ever wanted to change a t!p. Firstly, the bags and items REEKED of cigarette smoke. I put the bags and pantry items in the garage and hope they’ll just air out. But, more importantly, over half my stuff was missing. My daughter has alpha gal syndrome and is allergic to red meat/dairy products, so we have to get her a lot of special stuff. We didn’t get any of her food for the week. I know things happen, and an item or two missing here or there isn’t a huge deal. But this just seemed like a lot and I didn’t think it deserved the extra. But, I don’t do this for a living. So, before I changed it, I wanted to get some input from y’all.

I had just finished dropping off an order when the home screen came back up like this. I had not canceled any orders, so I’m not sure why this happened. Luckily it was already around 9:40 when this came up, so I didn’t have to wait too long before going back online

Unforfunantly for me

I cannot do this anymore its a shame. I got sepsis in my leg i broke 2 years back out of no where got 2 options. Get a surgery and clean out all the meta in my leg and remove meta completely which i already tried once 2 years ago as well. Or take the leg. Gotta give it one last try and pray for the best.

Certain store constantly cancelling great orders.

A store in my zone always cancels mine and others orders in what I only assume is to give orders to their friends or to steal. I’ve witnessed it happen to other people while it happened to me at the same time.

They have canceled multiple orders on me that were at least 50 + each every time. This is not the main store I go to so I only accept its orders when it’s a very good offer. I go there wait 20-30 minutes in the parking spot checked in and the trip cancels. I watch other people get their items and leave constantly while I am sitting there and see others straight up and get fed up and leave without receiving any help.

It has happened so many times I called support and told them they said the reason for cancellation was “driver didn’t show” 😂 support said they’d file a complaint with the store and look into it.

I then called hr on the store and told them about it they said team lead wasn’t there that day (shocker considering somebody is either stealing or pulling some shady shit) and they’ll do an investigation and get back to me.

I’ve never had a single issue with this store or its associates, my car is not dirty, i speak fluent english and my metrics are amazing the only reason my pickup time has ever gone down is because of that store canceling my orders saying I never showed up when I always have.

Expect Position change ups in the OGP dept. Alot are gonna be fired or moved

The cancelling of jobs after the FTC ruling and the earning verification reporting is the thing these OGP people dont understand. They stepped in it this time and it was done by kids. Thy putting themselves out of work and ppl are gonna be let go...watch your store if the cancellations have been a problem. Every coach nationwide is now being told to get involved. This is big ppl

This trip has been stuck on my phone since last night.

This trip won’t go away. I called support, deleted the app, etc. support told me there’s an outage. If I accept another trip I can’t start it until this one is cleared. Is anyone else experiencing this?
