My fluffy bee is enjoying the nice spring weather

I made a little bee as a little thank you gift to my yoga instructor who was really amazing while I was going through a difficult time. The spring weather happened to be really nice today, so took some pics near some pretty flowers before gifting my little bee (a couple friendly little honey bees checked him out too!)

Followed [this pattern](https://www.hookedbyrobin.com/blog/2019/03/amigurumi-bumblebee-free-crochet.html) by Hooked by Robin. Accidentally skipped over part of the pattern, so he has 2 black stripes instead of 3 but I honestly think his stubby little body is really cute so happy accidents! 😂 Also freehanded and attached a little stinger!

Made with Loops & Threads Demi Purl super bulky yarn and a 5.5 mm hook.

I made a Chao from Sonic! I tried a little needlefelt experiment for the eyes

Sonic Adventure 2 Battle and Sonic DX were games my little bro and I really loved growing up and I spent a lot of time raising the little chao's, so I had to make one for my growing crochet plushie collection!

I finished this little guy about a month ago, but wasn't happy with how the face was coming out with sewing felt on, so waited until I learned how to needlefelt a little before finishing him up! I took a note from some of the folks on here and needlefelted with thin felt sheets for my ditto over the weekend and really liked how that came out! So I tried doing the same technique for the eyes on this chao.

I will note that for the future, I will make the felt pieces bigger than I intend them to be on the final piece. I measured out eye whites that were 10x6 stitches big and came out closer to 8x4 ish. I was tempted to redo the eyes with bigger pieces of felt but I still think he came out cute and decided it's part of the learning process!

I followed the [Garden Biggie](https://ko-fi.com/s/551fb426c4?fbclid=PAZXh0bgNhZW0CMTEAAabcTAyW8C3g55qIVwXNL7K0aCIBVbyeB8jVZ8VB\_83ApvWMSnrgCA9J2fI\_aem\_vyqWoA5MvKyv2jIUpfKBUg) pattern by Sharmandelia. I used Loops & Threads Soft Classic yarn and a 4 mm hook

I've been playing a lot of Pokopia and made myself a little ditto plush!

Pokopia has been one of my favorite games to play recently and I decided I wanted to make myself a little ditto plush!

I mostly followed [this free pattern](https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/ditto-5) by CatKnit, but made some modifications. I freehanded the arms to make them taper more (the original pattern arms came out a little too cylindrical for me). I also took inspiration from a few posts I've seen on here and tried my hand at needle felting the mouth with some thin sheets of felt (rather than roving). I'm trying to use up my beginner yarn stash, so yarn is Loops and Threads Soft Classic Amethyst. I used a 4 mm hook.

I'm really tickled by how my little blob came out and did a mini photoshoot with them this morning haha.

My husband says playing this game so much is turning me into a ditto. Not sure what he's talking about.

I'm absolutely in love with Pokopia and decided to crochet myself a little ditto plush! Just finished them up last night and did a little photoshoot this morning.

For the crocheters out there, I mostly followed [this pattern](https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/ditto-5) by catknit. I made some changes though - I freehanded the arms so they tapered more (the original arms were cute but they came out a little too cylindrical for me) and instead of embroidering the mouth, I needlefelted some felt for the mouth! I just used the closest yarn I had on hand, which was Loops and Threads amethyst and used a 4 mm hook.

I put my glasses on my little ditto and my husband joked that I've turned into a ditto from playing so much!
