Nasi kak wow @ D'Cempaka Ancubic, Pantai Dalam
I noticed this place on google maps and decided to check it out.
The restaurant was in the lower ground level of this building (accessible from the outside).
There's a fair amount of street side parking, so it's not a big issue. I did go before 12pm, so I'm not sure what it's like during peak hours.
Extremely clean, air-conditioned. Plenty of seating. Great layout of their food.
You have a choice of nasi kak wow, or nasi kerabu, with your choice of proteins.
I took a pack of nasi kak wow ayam, asked them to add some curry chicken feet to my plate. Also asked them to put the sambal on the side as I wasn't sure how potent it was.
Chicken curry gravy on top was excellent, mildly sweetish as the east coast style is wont to be. Fried chicken and chicken feet were also great.
Sambal was excellent, mild and slightly sweetish again. This plate cost me something like RM9.00 - I didn't take the receipt.
Definitely will be back again.
