I started dating ex boyfriend around three years ago and just a few months in I started experiencing odd issues with my vagina. Sex would be extremely painful and it would literally tear down the opening of my vagina sometimes. After sex the opening would be a little irritated and swollen and red. But I couldn’t even pee without any discomfort. I had tiny little micro cuts all around the vagina for no reason and went to several gynos and it was clear I was having recurring yeast infections. I took fluconazole tablets and even went in a 6-month treatment of using it every three days and the symptoms went away. I used a variety of different meds and creams but it really affected my sex life with my partner and we could only have sex once a week, if that. the last time we had sex my vagina was extremely swollen and read. It felt hard almost and I could feel it when I walked. It went away just a day or two later but I'm not sure what it was. We've broken up since but the problems persist. Recently, I've been having extremely liquid-y discharge that has a strong fishy odor. It will just flow out randomly throughout the day in excessive amounts. But my concern comes from the thick and big white/ light yellow clumps that will come out of my vagina (which I think are clumps of yeast). I'll usually swab it and clean it out every day or so with a q-tip or a napkin but it's been bothering me a lot. I was sexually active the other day and SO many of these clumps had come out on me and him, it was so embarassing and I don't know what to do. Even when I'm not sexually active for weeks or months it still seems to happen. I can't see a doctor currently or for a while but has anyone shared these experiences? What can I do to prevent this and what can I take to combat these issues? I've become desperate and feel completely helpless.
