I recently got a new x440t and keep hearing mixed opinions about Paint Protection Film (PPF). Some people say it’s essential to protect the paint from scratches, chips, and weather damage, while others say it’s not really worth the cost.
So I wanted to ask:
Is PPF actually necessary for a new bike, or is it just an optional luxury?
Does it really make a noticeable difference in the long run?
Are there better or cheaper alternatives (like ceramic coating or regular waxing)?
For those who skipped PPF, did you regret it later?

Bit of a spontaneous plan here — I’m thinking of doing a chill road trip from Bangalore to Mangalore this long weekend (starting today/tonight or early tomorrow).

Plan is pretty simple:

Drive down, enjoy the coastal vibe 🌴

Beaches, good seafood, maybe a cafe hop

Relaxed itinerary, no rush
