What’s William Daniels like?

By now you’ve probably seen the TMZ video of him getting oddly mad and being dismissive of what appears to be a fan who approached him.

While you might say that’s just because he was such an old man, and the Boy Meets World cast speaks highly of him, his wife Bonnie did say that he was a very angry young man.

Are there other stories out there of him being pissy?

So my dad's side was a narcissistic family system, including my half-sisters and my whackjob psychopath of a stepmother. My sociopath half sister is married to a covert narc (weird how those toxic people seem to gravitate together). They liked treating me like I'm the designated loser and my job was just to stay on the lowest rung.

I cut them off years ago and I'm very happy.

I'm using the bad experiences with them as motivation to better myself, and it works nicely, but I'm concerned about it being my only source of, shall we call it, vindication electricity.

Have you been in a similar situation where you bettered yourself to spite the narcs? Seems a bit unhealthy to overfocus on this. My MBTI type suggests I enjoy competition, which may be a factor. How do you ease yourself into a healthier method of motivating yourself after using narcissistic abuse as your mojo?

In your experience, what sets off enabler children of narcissistic parents (particularly if the narcissistic parent is no longer around)?

Seems to me they would be upset at anyone criticizing that narcissistic parent in a public forum.

What else?

How about guilt for what the narcissistic parent might have inflicted on others that the enabler facilitated?

What are your experiences?

My half sister does this for her psychopath mom, and her mom was evil. Nobody had to suffer under her worse than me, and everything she said in that narcissistic system was treated like it was absolute.

I'm trying to understand covert psychology better.

Can you tell me specifically what triggered them in your experience?

Also what brought on their narcissistic collapse? And what did the collapse look like?

Please share your experiences.

Hi! For those who have dealt with coverts, what specifically triggers them? What anecdotes do you have?

My brother in law is one, I'm trying to figure out his psychology. He would get upset over the weirdest things.

I'm in law school. Guy ran for student body president, I got the immediate vibe from him that he's a narcissist (I don't know if actual NPD but he had the traits). He won, I heard he's opportunistic so it suggests my initial vibe was right.

I'm also on a law journal. I met a guy on it who I got the immediate vibes that he's a narcissist, just judging by how he talks to people and carries himself. He ran for editor in chief by promising positions to other people if they support him. He lost. Now he's trying to horn his way in to the Board even though he doesn't have a seat on it. I definitely believe he is a grandiose narc.

I do have experience dealing with a grandiose narc, I got similar vibes from the grandiose narc that I did with these two guys.

So here's my question, is it consistently reliable to determine you're with a grandiose narc from your initial vibes from them? If you've had similar situations, what tipped you off?

It's useful to know because knowing early on how to deal with them would have long-lasting effects. It's good to know how to game them before they game you.
