Is Pipeworks Membership worth it?
Recently took a class there for intro to climbing and I really enjoyed it! Those who have a membership, do you enjoy it?

On the advice of my therapist, I’ve been trying new hobbies and REALLY pushing myself out of my comfort zone. I tried rock climbing( top rope I believe is the correct phrase) and I fell in love! I took a class and got to climbing immediately. Luckily my local rock climbing gym has 5.5-5.12 and a bouldering wall! I haven’t tried bouldering because it looks intense and I’m scared…lol.
What advice would you give a compete novice? I’m brand new and still renting my equipment. I do feel like people often judge me because I’m just so fresh. I see people flying up this difficult walls and it makes me intimated! Any advice welcome.
Thanks in advance <3
Anyone have used top rope climbing gear? Or is there a good store that sells used gear? Shoes and harness
My husband and I have been paying off all our debt aggressively for over a year. We are within 6 months of paying off the last credit card and we’ll have no debt besides our mortgage.
Well, my husband co-signed an apartment lease for his niece last year. Everything was going fine, he never got late notices or emails or anything to say she wasn’t paying. He just got a balance due email in late March that she owes $10,580 and it will be going to collections by end of April if she doesn’t pay. She’s been dodging his calls for months, even before we learned about this. It’s obvious now that’s the reason why. She is not going to pay it. Thankfully she didn’t get evicted, it was a voluntary move out, so my husband won’t have an eviction on his credit. My husbands credit score is near 800, neither of us have ever been in collections.
Do we,
- drain our entire savings (we literally have $10,000 that’s it) to pay this off?
- let it go to collections and get on a payment plan?
Hello all - long time lurker here. I love being able to see all the creativity some of you have and the cute photos. I decided to post today after quite awhile of just looking.
My family has been going through a pretty tough financial period recently. As most of us are I assume. The economy is rough and we’re trying to raise two beautiful children. This week we’ve been hit with very unexpected debt a family member has left us with as well as some medical bills. It’s been hard to stay positive and to truly feel happy this week.
But then I saw this little photo, “wildly rich in whatever you call this”.
And I could not relate more to an imagine. It would be wonderful if someone could draw my family (second photo) like this with the kids crawling on us on a couch. Something I could print out and keep on our fridge as a constant reminder: we are rich in what matters. The money will come back, but atleast I have a healthy family now.
Thank you!
