Shot 1 in the books!

Took my first shot last night. 2.5. Feel good but couldn’t even finish my coffee this morning. Just no hunger. I am working from home today- do I treat it like intermittent fasting on day 1 or go make myself eat?
No nausea, I just could not bring myself to finish my coffee this morning.

Also for the newbies- the shot was so easy. I definitely had anxiety around this process! But now won’t even think twice. (Other than going through proper steps, but no anxiety)

I just had my first appointment with midiI was interested in perimenopause symptoms and weight gain in peri. I have about 15 pounds to lose, my base weight has been about 10 pounds more than in the last 5 years. It’s incredibly frustrating. I had bloodwork done recently with PCP and have high LDL (totally new for me), high glucose and high A1c making me pre-diabetic.
I really enjoyed my appointment and conversation and immediately felt more comfortable than with my PCP (who is this totally fine but transactional)
I went in wanting to discuss a GLP1 and HRT. This was not pushed but my questions. She really looked through my labs from Labcorp which was so helpful and thorough.
In the end, we decided on a 2.5 compound tirz. So the low dose, not micro dose.
I am both excited and nervous. She said I would get an email with follow up for next steps but I haven’t gotten it yet.
What’s next?
(I realize this is more of a review than question but this has been a helpful forum to me so thought I would share)
