Help redesign our craftsman 😊
We moved to this place for the location/land, but the house needs some updating - there are so many things that need changed, I’m overwhelmed! I am truthfully not a huge fan of the brick/siding combo and definitely want the yellow gone. I love brick, however, parts of this home have been added on to and the owner previously poorly repairs a couple of areas, so the brick doesn’t totally match in some areas (see the porch). Because of this, I have been considering opaque lime washing the brick and painting the siding a shade of white/cream to make everything look more cohesive. I would like to stay away from paint, as I do not want a ton of upkeep. However, I do love the moodier craftsman style colors- I just am not sure how to do this and make the existing brick look better. Also, we are planning to add on an attached garage with siding in the future, so I need to take matching that to the home into account, as well. We are getting a new roof this spring and am open to different ideas for that (the chimneys and antenna will be going for this too). I’m also excited for different landscaping- the bridal wreath is beautiful for a week, but then looks like a mess. Thank you for any input/help!
