Does this sound like stomach cancer?

Hi guys,

For around the last 5 months I have been getting sick in the mornings. It started around once a week but gradually increased over time. Over the last month it became daily, and during the last 2 weeks there were days I was vomiting extremely frequently (up to 30x a day)

I have also had severe pain below my belly button/lower abdominal area that has been 11/10 pain at times even after taking strong painkillers it only dropped to 6/10. I’ve been to the GP multiple times since January and was initially told possibilities like gastritis or H. pylori.

I was around 86kg in February, around 83kg in early April, and I am now around 76–77kg. I go to the gym regularly (usually 5x a week) and have been actively trying to bulk/eat more calories (36-3800 a day) but I’ve had very poor appetite, early fullness after a few mouthfuls of food, nausea after eating, and frequent vomiting.

About a week ago the abdominal pain became unbearable so I went to ED. They did a CT scan and initially thought I had a kidney stone around 6mm. I was given co-codamol, tamsulosin and antibiotics. Within a couple of days the severe pain improved dramatically and I no longer needed painkillers.

However, I then spoke to a urologist this week who said she is now not convinced it is definitely a kidney stone and that the weight loss, appetite loss and vomiting don’t really fit well with that diagnosis alone. She said I will be having another scan in the next couple of weeks. There was some white matter on the CT scan that was 6mm apparently though?

I am worried about whether something more serious could be going on, particularly because my grandad died from stomach cancer at 21 and my grandma has also had stomach cancer.

I’m in my early 30s. Is this something I should be pushing for further investigation/testing for?

Thanks

I’m struggling to wee much shall I go the ER now? Medium sized stone

Hi guys was diagnosed with a medium sized stone on Thursday morning after being in excruciating pain for weeks and non stop throwing up that led to 9kg weight loss in 2-3 weeks.

Sent home with Tamsulosin and heavy painkillers and antibiotics for suspected UTI.

I woke up on Saturday with pretty much 2/10 pain when it was 11/10 at it’s worse. I think the stone may have moved to my bladder now?

It’s 3am on Sunday and Im not really weeing very much? Maybe like 2-3 tbsp every 30 mins? Stinging in my penis and my testicles and tingling in my groin.

Is the stone about to pass on its own or shall I go to the ER? They didn’t really give me much info when I was diagnosed they just said I would probably need an operation and they would follow up in a few days but not heard back yet.

Thanks

A bit of help please? Been in severe pain.

Hey guys I hope everyone is well,

I have written this with speech to text AI as I am too unwell to write all this out myself.

I’m really confused about what’s going on with my health and wanted to see if anyone else has experienced anything similar with kidney stones.

Back in January I was around 85kg and went through a really stressful period where I was drinking heavily for a few weeks (sometimes around a litre to 1.5 litres of BuzzBall a day). I also wasn’t drinking much water at all.

Around February I completely lost my appetite. I was trying to bulk at the time and eating around 3600 calories a day, but I had to force-feed myself and still couldn’t gain weight. If anything I started losing weight.

I also started getting sick occasionally around January/February, at first maybe once every week or two, then it gradually became more frequent. Eventually over the last few weeks it got extreme and I was vomiting constantly every day. I’ve probably been sick hundreds of times in the last couple of weeks.

I’ve been to doctors and hospital multiple times over the last few months (10+!) and kept getting told it was things like:

• anxiety • gastritis • H pylori • mental health related

I’ve been in IMMENSE pain for the last 2-3 weeks that has left me crying my eyes out rolling around on the floor multiple times.

Three days ago I went back to hospital again because I was so dehydrated and in so much fucking pain and generally just so unwell. They finally did a CT scan and found a “medium” kidney stone. They also said I had a urine infection.

They sent me home with:

• co-codamol • tamsulosin • diclofenac suppositories • antibiotics (amoxicillin)

Yesterday the pain became unbearable again and I was literally rolling around crying even after painkillers, but today I weirdly have almost no kidney pain at all.

The confusing thing is:

• my appetite is still basically gone • I feel extremely weak/exhausted • I’ve gone from about 85kg to 77kg in a short amount of time • I’ve lost loads of muscle • I still feel really ill overall even though the pain is less today

The hospital said they may call me about needing an operation but I haven’t really been given much information.

Has anyone had a kidney stone cause symptoms this severe for this long? Especially the appetite loss, vomiting and rapid weight loss? And does the pain suddenly disappearing usually mean the stone has moved lower down or closer to the bladder?

I’m honestly just trying to understand what’s going on because I feel completely wrecked physically.

I’m still getting sick today and I have practically 0 appetite. I’m losing all the muscle I worked really hard for. I’m losing like 1kg every 2 days
