Got told why I’m single today lol.
TL;DR
M31 here, just needed to vent.
Was at a friend’s place, few drinks in and we started talking about dating after 30.
Everyone was saying how it’s hard to find someone.
Then it turned into this whole list.
•Some girls don’t like love bombing.
•Some like toxic men.
•Some want tall guys.
•Some enjoy kalesh.
•Some go back to their ex even when they’re with someone.
•Some girls don’t even feel like having sex.
•Some can’t even drive.
•Some like only red flag guys and green flag are easily ignored
I just said maybe it’s not that black and white.
•Love bombing isn’t the problem, fake effort is.
•It’s not attraction to toxic, it’s comfort in what they know.
•Height is a preference, not a personality.
•No one actually wants drama long term.
•Going back to an ex is usually unresolved stuff.
•Sex drive is different for everyone, it’s about compatibility not blame.
•Things like driving are individual, not something to judge.
• Red flags feel exciting at first, green flags feel stable, and stability is often mistaken as boring.
Didn’t think much of it.
Then suddenly it became.
“This is why you’re single.”
“You won’t find anyone.”
That kinda hit tbh.
Funny part is they’re all dating people who have the same traits they were complaining about.
I didn’t argue or anything.
Just said thanks for explaining why I’m single and left.
Maybe I am single for this reason, who knows.
But I’d still pick understanding people over reducing them to labels.
Anyway yeah, just felt weird enough to share here.
