nonchalant intl may have slightly messed up lol

Hello my lovely uni kids, please dont be mad at me for this.
So I applied to uni in the UK kind of late (apr 1st week) and I KNOW its stupid, but i actually really wanted to go to college in the US.
Long story short, i did get in to a few places in the US but they expensive ash 🫩✌️ (NYU, Purdue, Georgia Tech) slightly below Russel group rep wise i think?
In the UK I applied to KCL, UoManchester, UoBristol, UoEdinburgh and St. Andrews uni.
Rn, i’ve got offers from UoBristol and St. Andrews. By when should I expect the offers? I’ve had regular correspondence with my Admissions officer(s?) as KCL, but haven’t gotten an offer yet 😀🔫
Should I wait out, or commit to college in the US/Bristol/St.Andrews? (w/ a shit ton of debt for the US)
love u all x

Got into oxbridge as well as imperial for cse. heard that oxbridge is super theoretical and not that good for industry experience? imperial seems to be better for exposure and practical knowledge.
if anyone has studies/is studying from either of these, please reach out!

edit: i meant oxbridge but mis-spelled sorry 😭

I’m planning to apply cs+astrophysics for fall ‘27, but keep hearing that cs is super saturated now, and not worth it anymore?? I also have super strong involvement in A.I and data science tho, would that be a better approach?
