Simba’s last chance at finding a home.

This is truly Simba’s last chance effort to find a foster or adopter before behavioral euthanasia becomes the reality.
Simba is 8 years old and has already survived abandonment, instability, and having to learn how to protect himself in environments where he did not feel safe. Despite that, he is not a bad dog. He is a dog who needs the RIGHT person.

Simba is:
• Neutered
• Housebroken
• Fully trained on commands
• Leash trained
• Muzzle trained
• Currently working with a professional trainer
• Eligible for lifetime trainer support for his adopter

He needs:
• No other dogs
• No young children
• A calm, confident, structured home
• Someone willing to keep boundaries and continue his training foundation

Simba’s ideal person is someone experienced with strong boundaries and structure. We believe he could thrive with someone experienced in training, working breeds, military/law enforcement backgrounds, or anyone naturally confident and consistent with dogs.
Once Simba trusts you, he is deeply loyal, affectionate, and devoted to his person.
We are not looking for “perfect.” We are looking for someone willing to give this dog the chance he deserves before it is too late. WE WILL TRAVEL FOR RIGHT PERSON. DO NOT NEED TO BE IN TN.

Meet Simba — he needs a forever home in the next 3 weeks.

• 8 years old

• Neutered & housebroken

• Best as the only dog

• Rescued from the streets of Memphis

• Later brought to a shelter in Nashville

• Previously adopted, but sadly abandoned due to eviction

• Developed protective behaviors from his past — not aggressive

• Currently in training and making great progress

• Needs a patient, consistent owner who can provide clear boundaries

• Trainer will support him (and you) for life

We know Simba’s forever home is out there — he’s already been given a second chance, and now he deserves his last one.
