Political lawn signs
Who’s your go-to for large (10k) lawn sign orders? We typically use signs365 for outsourced orders, but this would be our largest ever. Thanks!

A customer had us quote a fairly large job (for us), including ~25 different items. Everything from postcards to parking lot pole banners. When we received the files, they also send a spreadsheet breaking down those total quantities into different artwork for 4 locations, AND up to four different designs (of each item) per location. So, instead of 25 files (one for each item), there were about 100 files, and a SPREADSHEET breaking down the quantities/version.
The kicker? Every piece of art had a unique, un-labeled QR code, so each location’s files had to be produced separately in order to keep them organized. It was a logistical headache.
We are not going to adjust the price for this project. I think the customer just isn’t familiar with the print world, so they need to be educated. This project had a tight deadline and we didn’t have time to go back to the drawing board.
QUESTION: How/when would you recommend communicating the issue with the customer so this doesn’t happen again? I need to communicate that the files and artwork need to be labeled better and the price is going to change. How much for a price increase? 50% higher?
