Long overdue post.

All photos are taken indoors and outdoors in natural lighting—no filters.

There’s a lot of debate online about the longevity of SMP. You’ll hear that it won’t last, that you’ll need laser removal, or that you’ll regret it. Honestly, most of that is just noise.

This is my own SMP—now 12 years old.

Done in 2014, with just one touch-up in late 2017. Absolutely Nothing since.

Has it softened over time? Of course.

That’s actually part of what keeps it looking natural.

Constant touch-ups aren’t necessary—only when they’re truly needed. As an artist, I even discourage my own clients from getting frequent touch-ups unless it’s warranted. Most times less is more

12 years later:

No laser. No regret. Still looks natural.

And yeah, this is Reddit—people will say it looks faded or flat or the ink has gone abit blotchy. That’s expected. But the reality is, most people overthink SMP. Living with it for over a decade, I can honestly say it’s been a complete game changer.

There is no perfect hairloss treatment, but for me SMP reigns supreme and best bang for buck if you really want a peace of mind.

The biggest fear people have is: “Will anyone notice?” In 12 years, not a single person has. I’ve actually had people ask why I don’t grow my “hair” out—and when I tell them it’s SMP, they’re shocked.

That alone should say a lot about longevity.

If you’re on the fence, do your research, find the right artist, and make the call.

If you’re on the East Coast of Canada or in the midlands UK, feel free to reach out 🤙🏽

Just got back from Riu palace Costa mujeres. Very impressed great spot for families. Lots of food options wasn’t expecting much in terms of quality but overall it turned out to exceed expectations. There’s a nice water park and beach is beautiful
