Securing Bulldog In Car
Hi Everyone ! this silly guy is Moose, and he looooves walks and car rides. Problem is, Moose gets excited at every little stop and is also restless in the back seat of the car.
When there's two of us in the car, someone is able to atleast physically push him back if he really wants to get into the front but, driving solo, it's a little harder.
He is clipped in to a seatbelt with one of those bungee clips, but it still gives him too much wiggle room and he tries his hardest to push against it. Today I had to make a quick trip with him and clipped him into the front passenger seat, with the seat as far forward as it can go and I also wrapped his lead around the headrest to keep it a little tighter though with enough room.
He LOVED this solution and constantly kept his paws and head and (massive) tongue out enjoying the wind and sightseeing. although I know it would be impossible for him to jump out of the car, I still felt a little nervous. I would love to continue having him in the front passenger seat so he can keep his head out (when it's safe to do so of course), so I was wondering what other people's solutions are to their bulldogs in a car ?
All advice is appreciated !!! Thank you
