What cold email setup would you use today for day?

I’m trying to build a cold email setup that can safely handle around without turning into a deliverability nightmars later.

Current idea was using, then for sending.

But tbh the deeper go into cold email the more confused I get lol.

Some people say: . Others are saying they send day per inbox with no issues.

Then there’s the whole warmup debate,s, plain text vs designed emails…

Feels like everyone has completely different rules.

I’m mostly curious what setup people here areusing right now that’s working consistently.

Formed my LLC this week and suddenly my business feels real

This probably sounds overly emotional for paperwork, but I’m curious if anyone else had this moment.

For the past year I’ve been running a small video editing business on the side. Mostly editing content for local gyms, real estate agents, and a couple small YouTube channels. Nothing huge, but enough where I was making steady extra income every month.

The whole time I just operated under my own name and treated it casually in my head. Even with paying clients, invoices, and actual income, part of me still felt like I was “trying out” being self employed instead of actually building a business.

A few days ago I finally formed an LLC. Nothing fancy. Just filed the paperwork online, paid the fee, and got the confirmation email later that night.

And honestly something changed mentally the second I saw the business name officially approved.

It suddenly stopped feeling like a random side gig and started feeling like something real that I’m responsible for growing. Even simple stuff like seeing the LLC name on invoices or in my email signature hits differently now.

My friends think I’m overreacting because technically nothing about the business changed overnight. Same clients, same work, same income.

But mentally it feels completely different.

Did anyone else have this weird shift after forming an LLC or doing some other official business step?

Are there any discounts on high-quality faucet aerators for kitchens?

Last week my cousin wanted to replace his kitchen pull down sprayer because old one was leaking and making kitchen messy every time washing dishes. He thought buying new one would be simple but when we started checking online stores and local shops everything looked confusing. Some sprayers were cheap but felt very light in hand, others looked strong but price was surprisingly high. Even same design had different names and claims so we could not understand which one actually lasts longer

Next morning we visited a plumbing shop near market and talked to an older installer there who explained everything in much simpler way. He said good pull down sprayers usually have stainless steel or brass body with braided hose and ceramic valve inside. He also said the magnetic docking and smooth hose movement matter alot because weak quality parts start leaking quickly. He showed us few working models and the difference in build quality was easy to notice

Later that night we checked more reviews and listings on alibaba where real buyers were sharing their experience about different kitchen sprayers. Some said expensive ones lasted years without any issue while others complained about cheap models breaking at hose joint. It made us realize that real choice is not just about price or look but how strong the inner parts are and how often you actually use it daily

How to choose the right replacement cartridge for my bathroom faucet?

Last month my cousin had a bathroom faucet that started leaking slowly and honestly it became one of those small problems that turns into a big headache at night. At first he thought the whole tap needed replacing, so he went to a hardware shop ready to buy a new faucet. But the plumber there stopped him and said the real issue is usually just the cartridge inside the faucet, not the full unit. That surprised both of us because I always thought cartridges were just generic parts. When we opened the faucet, we saw how small and worn the inside piece was, and it was clear why water kept dripping even when the handle was fully closed.

Next morning we visited a plumbing store near the market and talked to an older installer there. He explained things in a very simple way and honestly it helped alot. He said the first step is to identify the faucet brand and model if possible because cartridges are not always universal. Then you need to check the size, spline count (the grooves on the stem), and whether it is ceramic disc, compression, or ball type. He strongly recommended ceramic disc cartridges for modern faucets because they last longer and handle pressure better. He also showed us how two cartridges can look similar but still not fit properly if the internal measurements are slightly different. One cartridge we saw looked identical but was actually off by a small margin that would cause leakage again.

Later that night we checked more repair guides and plumbing discussions on alibaba and saw many users sharing experiences about buying wrong cartridges and wasting money. Some people said matching model numbers saved them alot of trouble while others said taking the old cartridge to the shop was the safest option. Now I keep wondering if most faucet repairs fail because of wrong parts or simply because people rush the replacement without checking details carefully enough?

Can I rent road sealing machines instead of buying them for short-term projects?

I was picturing a small road repair crew in my mind like they only need to fix cracks for a few days so they are deciding not to buy expensive equipment and instead use a temporary solution.

Yes you can rent road sealing machines instead of buying them and it is a very common choice for short term projects. Rental companies provide different types of machines such as crack sealing units asphalt sprayers and compact sealing systems depending on the job size. Renting helps reduce upfront cost avoids maintenance expenses and is ideal when you only need the equipment for a limited time.

Many local construction equipment rental services offer daily weekly or monthly plans so you can choose based on your project duration. You can also explore online industrial platforms like Alibaba where some suppliers list rental options or connect buyers with used and short term equipment providers. Well known brands like Graco Inc. and Bomag are often available in rental fleets because they are widely used and reliable for road maintenance work.

Now I wonder if in the future construction companies will completely shift to renting all machines so they never need to own heavy equipment at all?

The suitcase that shouldn't have survived the Atlas Mountains

Picture this: it’s 2019, i'm standing in the chaos of a Marrakesh terminal, the air gritty with exhaust, nerves raw, clutching a twenty-dollar duffel bag i’d grabbed last-minute from a transit station. you know the type, loud neon blue, nylon so thin it whispers parachute, stretched to the limit with everything i owned for a three-month trek across desert country.

Elias, my travel partner, took one look and just cracked up. He treated his carbon-fiber hiking gear like family heirlooms. “That thing’s gonna blow apart before we reach base camp,” he said, fiddling with the professional straps on his thousand-dollar rucksack. i just rolled my eyes, zipped up the duffel like it was a prayer, and tossed it in the back of a dented 4x4.

….Jump three weeks ahead. We’re somewhere high in the Atlas Mountains, trying to squeeze through this skinny mountain pass. The weather snaps, blue skies to end-of-the-world wind in less than a minute. it’s chaos. i’m yanking at tent lines and suddenly, out of nowhere, the wind hijacks my duffel. i watch it, slow motion, bouncing down jagged limestone, cartwheeling through scrub, vanishing a good hundred feet below.

Elias just shakes his head. “it’s gone,” he says, almost a little sorry. “Bet those seams popped on the first bounce.

….Two hours later, i finally scrambled down the rocks expecting to find my underwear waving from thorn bushes. But there it is, the world’s toughest cheap duffel. Caked in red dust, one bold scratch on the side, but the zipper’s still holding. Miraculous, honestly. it looks more like a bruised fruit than luggage, but it survived.

Meanwhile, i couldn’t help thinking about all those “indestructible” tactical bags i’d scrolled past online, the kind that promise to survive anything short of a meteor strike. You see them everywhere, even across massive marketplaces like alibaba, all polished photos and bold claims. Funny thing is, i’m not convinced any of them would’ve handled that fall any better.

By the time we staggered back to the coast, my bag was basically held together by duct tape. Elias’s top-tier zippers? Sand jammed, failed on day four. i still have that duffel, shoved in the back of my closet. i should probably toss it but i just can’t. Every time i catch that faded blue, i see Moroccan dust and remember exactly how much heart a useless twenty-buck bag can have.

Small homelab setup issues beyond software (heat, dust, and physical environment)

Hey everyone,

I have a small homelab that i have been operating a few months. The minimum configuration is a single low-power server with Proxmox, a spare router to separate the network, and a couple of learning and testing containers.

My attention was mostly on software, but now i started to have problems with the physical environment that I did not think about initially. It is cramped, and I am working with cable mess, dust, poor air circulation, and perceptible heat when the uptime is extended. There is also more noise than anticipated at night.

….To make things even better, I began to research physical infrastructure improvements such as anti-static flooring or matting. i am unsure whether that is useful at all at small scale of home or it is more of an enterprise lab need.

I have also tried a few inexpensive anti-static mats that I purchased online on such websites as alibaba, although the quality of these products was rather questionable, and I wondered whether the given type of solution should be pursued at all.

So, how do you manage the issue of heat, dust and ventilation in a small homelab? Have you used any anti-static flooring or is it excessive? What was the most significant physical improvement to you when you were starting out?

Is it wrong to support my brother’s dream when my whole family thinks it’s a mistake?

It was a shock to everyone when my brother dropped out of college. Said it wasn't for him and moved forward with opening a bar. Turns out he had been saving since his freshman year specifically for this. By his final year he had enough to make it happen.

It was hard news for everyone. I tried to convince him as his closest sibling but his mind was already made up and I genuinely saw the reasoning behind it. He's not impulsive. He planned this quietly for years.

Now while the rest of the family is pushing back and refusing to support his launch I've been thinking about getting him neon lights for the bar. My mom is completely against it. She feels I'm encouraging him down a path that won't help his future instead of pulling him back toward school.

I understand her concern. But my brother isn't a kid anymore. He's fully aware of his decisions and has been for a long time.

The reason I stepped in specifically was because he mentioned being short on funds for the kind of neon lights he actually wanted. He didn't want to just grab whatever was cheap and available online. Said he'd seen the kind of listings on alibaba and amazon that were in his budget and none of them matched what he had in mind. He had a specific vision and couldn't reach it alone. I saw his enthusiasm and decided to chip in.

Now my parents feel I'm the enemy of the family. That was never my intention. I just didn't want to watch my brother fall short of something he'd planned for years over something I could help with.

Should I have stayed out of it to keep the peace?

How do users rate the performance of gas-powered vs electric power trowels?

I was thinking about a big warehouse floor in my mind like two workers are finishing concrete and one is using a gas machine while another is using an electric one and both are trying to get the same smooth result.

User ratings for gas powered and electric power trowels usually depend on job size and working conditions. Gas powered trowels are often rated higher for large outdoor projects because they deliver strong continuous power and can run for long hours without needing a power source. Users like them for heavy duty concrete finishing and big slab work where strength and speed matter more than noise or emissions.

Electric power trowels are often rated better for indoor projects or small to medium jobs because they are quieter cleaner and easier to maintain. Many users appreciate them for low vibration handling and no fuel requirement but they are sometimes rated lower for very large projects because they depend on power supply and may not match gas models in raw power.

On platforms like Alibaba you can see real user reviews comparing both types where contractors share feedback about performance noise level maintenance and finishing quality. Brands like Allen Engineering and Wacker Neuson also receive strong ratings for both gas and electric models depending on project type and user needs.

Now I feel gas models win for power and large scale work while electric ones win for comfort and cleaner operation but I still wonder if future electric trowels will become powerful enough to fully replace gas machines even on very large construction projects?

Is it risky for my partner's family to want me to co-sign a house in my name?

My partner’s parents recently asked me to put a house in my name because they cannot qualify for a mortgage right now due to past credit issues. The idea is that I would take the loan, and they would handle all the payments and expenses.

On paper it sounds simple, but it feels like a huge risk to me. I already have a decent amount of student debt and I am trying to stay in a good position to buy my own home in the next few years.

They mentioned possibly setting it up through an LLC and creating some kind of rental agreement, but I am not comfortable mixing finances and family like that. I also worry about what happens if something goes wrong, like missed payments, job loss, or unexpected issues. It would all fall back on me.

I am trying to explain the risks clearly to my partner without it turning into an argument, but I want to make sure I am not missing anything important.

Has anyone been in a similar situation, or are there specific risks I should be pointing out here?

What are the best commercial refrigerators for restaurants?

Last year my cousin opened a small restaurant and the one thing nobody warned us about was how stressful buying a commercial refrigerator can get. We thought it was just gonna be “pick a big fridge and done” but nah, every chef we talked to had a different opinion. One guy kept praising stainless steel upright models while another swore chest freezers survive longer during power cuts. Meanwhile our old second hand fridge started making this loud rattling noise right during dinner rush and everybody thought the compressor was about to explode.

That night we sat down comparing brands and specs online for hours. Ended up scrolling through Alibaba listings too just to understand what restaurants overseas were using. Honestly kinda useful seeing supplier photos, kitchen setup videos and random customer comments instead of perfect showroom pictures. Some refrigerators looked super advanced with digital temperature displays and separate cooling zones while others seemed built like tanks with barely any fancy features.

We finally bought a mid range double door model and it has been decent so far, but now I keep wondering if spending extra on premium commercial refrigerators really saves money long term. Anyone here running a restaurant and found a fridge brand that actually lasts years without constant repairs?

Where can I read customer reviews for handheld plastic welding guns?

A few months ago I was trying to find honest reviews for handheld plastic welding guns after my old one nearly melted its own handle while fixing a cracked bike panel. Scared the hell out of me cause I legit thought the thing was gonna catch fire. After that I stopped trusting those random one line reviews that just say “good product” and nothing else.

I started digging through forums, YouTube comments and random workshop blogs but honestly half the reviews felt fake or copied. Weirdly enough I found better stuff while scrolling through Alibaba listings late at night. Not even talking about buying immediately, just the way some suppliers uploaded actual customer photos and repair videos made things feel more real. A couple reviews even showed damaged bumpers before and after welding which helped way more than polished ads. One guy in the comments was complaining about weak airflow on a cheaper model and that actually saved me from ordering it.

Now I am stuck deciding whether to get a compact handheld gun or spend extra for one with digital temperature control. Anybody here used both and noticed a real difference during long repair jobs?

Can I get free shipping on bulk orders of inkjet printer cartridges?

I’ve been thinking about buying inkjet printer cartridges in bulk since replacing them one by one gets expensive pretty fast, but I’m kinda confused about how shipping usually works on bigger orders

a small thing that got me thinking was when a friend ordered cartridges in bulk thinking he found a great deal, and later realized the shipping cost almost ruined the savings

I did check some listings on alibaba and it’s honestly pretty useful seeing different suppliers and bulk options in one place, especially for comparing prices, but shipping details seem very inconsistent depending on the seller

some listings mention free shipping above certain quantities while others don’t say much at all, so it’s hard to tell what’s normal

so yeah do suppliers usually offer free shipping on bulk cartridge orders if the quantity is high enough, or is it mostly something you need to negotiate directly and I’m just overthinking this too much
