Energy gels/Carb and Electrolyte Drinks

I’m training for an Ironman and have been searching to find a balance for energy without loading 60 grams of sugar because I don’t want to be vomiting on the bike. Was wondering if anyone here has done training for distance running/endurance and if they’ve had success with certain gels/drinks.
