This is going to sound so obvious for so many people but I'm serious and have genuine questions.

I currently have a Boston ASW 650 subwoofer I got for $25, it's really beat up, but works. I'd still like to upgrade. I have a wiim amp, and Martin Logan Motion 20i towers. I primarily stream Spotify but maybe twice a week will have a vinyl jam session.

Now between the SVS and RSL. It's going in my 16ftx10ft bed room. The svs is $599, HOWEVER, I get 50% off through my work for personal accommodation, so it would be about $40 cheaper then the RSL, but I'm worried it might be overkill, or the RSL might just straight up sound better than svs cheapest offering based on how much people love it. Anyways, any input is greatly appreciated.
