Experience with Mirena IUD removal after Bisalp

Thats basically the question. Has anyone here had any experience with removing their mirena iud after getting sterilized? My post op appointment is tomorrow, and I want to see about getting it removed because its caused weight gain, acne, low libido, and slight cramps with high amounts of movement or abdominal muscle use (which I use a lot of because of my job). Has anyone had their periods be worse after having it taken out after the fact?

Thinking about removing my IUD

So I got my bisalp not too long ago, and im thinking about getting my iud removed. I got it may 5th of last year, so I've had it for a little over a year. Really the only benefit is i haven't had a period since I got it, plus I like having that extra feeling of security that I won't get pregnant, but ive also had some side effects. Ive gained about 50lbs since I got it, my libido is wayyy lower than it used to be, I keep getting acne more than I used to before I got it, and I get slight cramps with a lot of abdominal muscle use (which i do a lot of because of my job) I guess my question is, is it a good idea? My doctor said the bisalp might make my flow heavier which is one reason why I want to keep it, but im ready to get rid of the iud and hopefully drop a few pounds. I retain weight like idk what, which used to not be a problem of mine until I got it

So if i got a bisalp, my boyfriend had a vasectomy and tests negative for sperm, and I have an IUD, what are the odds of me getting pregnant if we do it raw (meaning without a condom). I feel like they're incredibly low, but if anyone has any idea of the likelihood of it happening, id like your input lol

So I got my tubes taken out 4-30-2026. So far the pain hasn't been bad at all, I've been sleeping most of the weekend. Occasionally ill feel a slight soreness where I can only assume is where my fallopian tubes used to be. I can really only feel the incisions. The slight soreness brings me relief, but is anyone else terrified that they didnt take enough of their tubes out for it to be effective? I know it sounds stupid, but in my medical notes they didnt specify how much was removed, just that they started from the bit that connects to the ovary and then repeated on the other side. Im pretty sure its implied that the whole thing was removed, because it doesn't make any sense for any of it to be left in. I just worry about medical negligence because of the things you hear about women's healthcare 🙃. I did ask to keep my tubes and the doctor said he'd send them to the pathologist from his clinic rather than the one from the hospital (my guess is that its cheaper) so im waiting to hear back about that. My post op appointment is on the 11th, so is that something I should ask about at that point? I dont want to look stupid in front of the doctor

Edit: after going back and re reading my surgical notes, it did say "tubes were removed"
