Wasn’t sure if I should put this in help or discussion - lmk if I should change the flare.

My makerspace has an F1 and we’ve been having an issue recently where members are able to disable the feature that keeps the laser from firing unless the shield is fully closed and locked down. Why would someone manually disable this? Excellent question. We repeat the instruction not to do so often and clearly, but yk sometimes people just don’t listen or care.

My question is, is there a way to make it so it’s impossible to disable this feature? We want the cover to be locked down at all times when in use.

I have a few smart thermostats in my building that aren’t the same brand, and some more may be added in the future, and I’m researching a relatively simple (and cheap) software, basically all I need it to do is control multiple different brands of thermostat from one app. Ideally I’d like to be able to set blanket temperature settings/limits for the whole building or given areas.

I literally just have thermostats, no other sensors or features that would make something like Niagara (which I have experience with) worth it. Any ideas?

I’d like it to be compatible with Honeywell, Ecobee, and maybe Nest but not necessary.
