hello guys, so I wanted to upgrade my old LG 144hz 1080p from 2020 for a 240hz 1440p monitor, the issue is, i’m a very competitive player so the response time is important for me, I bought a LG 27G640A-B I was very satisfied with the colors but the response time was really bad… so I switched to a acer KG271U. The response time is AMAZING but the panel is so bad it’s unusable unless you’re playing competitive games… does an ips monitor with good response time and good colors even exist?

Recently, I upgraded from an LG 144Hz to an LG G6 300Hz. The thing is, whenever I move fast in-game, for a split second I feel like my frames drop to 30 FPS (even though it never goes under 500), and that’s a problem I never had with my 144Hz. I even tried lowering the monitor refresh rate to 144Hz and still have the same issue.
