Snakes Eating and Weights
I have 3 ball pythons, All with VASTLY different eating habits.
My first one, a normal female about 2 years old, is on month 4 without food. This is her 2nd year doing this, she goes off food for 6 months or so then will eat normally for the other 6.
My 2nd one, a male banana about 2 years old, i’m realizing is overweight, he eats anything you put infront of him, regardless of if it’s time or not, and when i went out of town last month he got fed 2 times in one week.
My 3rd, is a very civilized Enchi OD about 1 year old and eats like a lady, very politely and on a routine schedule. She is gaining weight nicely, and i’ve only had her 8 months.
My question is, they all have similar set ups, are in the same room, and they get the same care and attention. Is there anyway i can help my 1st girl eat more? She’s almost the same weight as my 3rd girl who i just got, and she’s twice her age. I have a plan for my fat lard no worries there, but im just concerned about my girl who isn’t eating. I’ve tried braining mice, ive tried putting her in a different box, ive tried feeding her at night and in the morning. I’m worried she’s deciding she wants live, and because of where im at, i cant offer live. I really don’t want to rehome her but i will if it gets her eating.
