Chihuahua or cross breed?
Good morning all,
Just taken in these dogs from my nan who is sick and in hospital.
There is a white one you may see briefly in these pics, she is definitelya pure bread (with papers) chihuahua. She came from the same litter as two of my mums and one of my own dogs.
This one though apparently my uncle just dropped off to her a few years ago 🙄
They've told her chihuahua and I agree but something else is niggling at me about this ones presentation. I have only just got her yesterday but on Monday i will definitely be taking her for a vet check.
My issues are the incredibly long legs and odd posture, she just doesnt present to me as chihuahua, I almost went 'dingo' in initial presentation but seeing as thats like saying your new unverified domestic cat is a ragdoll, i didnt want to rush in with that.
Any thoughts?
The other option being, standard chihuahua breed but malnourished, which is how I am treating her until confirmation from a vet. By that i mean, not rushing the feeds etc, small amounts more often.
Regardless, im obsessed with her, and i will likely keep her myself but i just want to know more about her but my nan has dementia and my uncle isnt around so any help would me very much appreciated🖤
