Made a squad of shining spears using jet bike bits and Highland Miniatures Elves. I have some archer ones I plan to strap to bikes and make a squad of shroud runners too! Since they are based on high elves wanted the idea of them to be they are wearing prefall armor like the Visarch and Corsairs but in a differing style. Plan to use them for my Ynnari ideas for 11th (mostly dark eldar fan but gonna splash Ynnari this coming edition too)
So I plan to start getting into hema this summer and gonna go to my first practice in a few weeks! Right now busy cuz schools a mfer lol but have this cold steel training hand and a half sword. Thought I could mess around and try out some guards with it while getting ready. Is this a decent training weapon or is it not the move cuz idk if it’s my noodle arms or this thing but it feels chunky af.
Decided to doodle my Yriel proxy into a whole character! Now introducing Thaeda Cravenscurse! Used the Jes Goodwin dark eldar warrior sketch as inspiration! Hope to field this one day in a drukhari corsair detachment! (Or maybe Ynnari if Yriel is allowed in).

So I want to try and build a 500 point list for corsairs following the king of colosseum rules. Only thing that stinks is how no epic heroes can be used and both leaders are epic heroes (kharseth should’ve been a generic voiddreamer but that’s another rant lol). What are some ideas I can do for it instead. Thanking of an Autarch with some dragons as the warlord but idk.

So I got to kitbashing some corsairs and was wondering for in game (ig until 11th lol) are voidreavers better in a shooting build or a melee??
So I’m gonna be getting into hema and I know I should be asking about actual protective gear and such but…. Where do yall get those sick puffy pants! I’ve seen so many longsword vids with people in the baggy/puffy pants and I want some sooo bad! A pair for hema and pair for the house would do wonders for me hahaha.
So after seeing the comments I thought these were just gonna be like “harem pants” but these are their own beasts!

I really hope these guys get some good lore cuz I’d love to see the Yncanre kickin ass and saving souls in some books (hell let Mike Brooks write it he did a good job with the Corsairs).
So I was watching the edition unboxing excited to make those marines into black Templars. I’m now nervous about converting since from what I remember they do not wear the Aquila and a good amount of the models have it. Am I gonna have to shave those all off lmao
So with 11th edition coming up I am prepping some list ideas and one of them is Ynnari. Here is my idea for a 1k game (thinking of ideas for 1.5k but that will be involving some Dark Eldar proxies for craftworld stuff). Curious how this list is. I feel like I don’t have too many heavy hitters. I do have some scourges I could proxy as swooping hawks and some mandrake kitbahses I’m thinking could be scorpions.
Lore/narrative wise my headcanon is a mostly dark eldar/corsair company that broke free from Commorragh. The dark side of the death cult if you would lol.
So I am thinking (if they r still hopefully playable on 11th) to run some Ynnari. I know their lore is iffy but the idea of the unified elf death cult seems cool. So I decided to draw up some ideas of a big Ynnari banner that I might use as a proxy for a bigger unit with some infantry holding it up. Definitely a stretch for a proxy lol but thought it could be a cool future project for soemthing unique and I love banners so combine the two.
Got bored during break and doodled the Visarch. This guy has to be one of my favorite eldar designs across all ranges (really happy the corsairs chose to follow his design with pre-fall armor). I’m also currently kitbashing him with a mix of high elf bits from fantasy, dire avengers bits, drukhari bits and gonna attempt green stuff for the fur mantle! Hope him and the Ynnari as a whole can get more in the story cuz man I wanna see this guy go around doing more!
