Verbal taunting at the free throw line in NBA 2K1. This is a feature that was removed beyond the Dreamcast
“Whoo! Get that shhh outta here!”
This is a feature that was snuck into the early NBA 2K games, it is my belief the NBA eventually noticed this and made them take it out. At the free throw line, if you are the home team and your opponent is at the line, you can mash the X button to make the crowd wave their foam tubes. But if you are the road team and your home opponent is at the line, pressing X has a much different result….One of your players off the bench will shout out lines to try and distract the shooter. How unsportsmanlike!
