I don’t feel sorry for single moms but I do feel sorry for their kids.

- Statistically, a child is way more likely to be abused by a stepfather than their biological parent.

- Any man their mom dates sees their existence as a burden whether they say it or not. Even in the best case scenarios, it’s still awkward as fuck to have random men around.

- Your mom is going to have moments where they develop chemistry with a guy and they nope the fuck out after finding out she has a child. People can be as politically correct about it as they want and try to make all the sugarcoated comments they want, on a subconscious levels these single moms resent their kids when this happens. Even if it’s just a little bit of resentment, it’s there

- They will force their kids out of the house the minute they turn 18 so they can live their own life.

- If your mom ends up finding someone, marrying them and they have their own kids you then instantly become the red headed step child of the family.

Doesn’t matter how much you think you have your shit together.

Lose your income, have trouble replacing your income and then deplete your savings

Next thing you know you’re relying on others for mercy but if your support system doesn’t come through like you assumed they would, you’re fucked

I lean right on many issues but hate the narrative that some other right leaning people out there push about homeless people. Better never claim to be any kind of Christian if you’re talking down on these people.

I was walking into a convenience store this morning and this South Asian gentleman ahead of me held the door open for a large line of people who were behind him. It was about 5 men and 5 women. All the men said thank you, none of the women did.

I’m sure if you would ask those woman why they didn’t say thank you, they’d cite a previous experience about how some guy held the door open for them and tried to hit on them afterwards.

All good. No issue.

Just don’t take it personal when someone lets the door slam in your face.Or when they don’t acknowledge you at all in public, at work or in any social setting. And men shouldn’t take it personal when it’s reversed.

My attempts at talking to the guy who held the door open for these people and didn’t get any thank you’s from half of them failed because he could not speak English

They were born into a bad family and inherited bad DNA. Nothing they do can change those things. As a result, they had a bad childhood, bad adolescence and so on. Life feels like one giant party that they’re not invited to. They are stuck looking at people with better families be able to bond with their loved ones and look at people with better DNA be able to have prosperous love life’s. There is nothing wrong with their brain chemicals, their life just sucks. They got the short end of the stick when they were born.

Depression is a chemical imbalance of the brain. When you have this, you can be born looking like a model with the best family ever and still hate life.
