Hi all -
25 year player of Call of Duty here. I've been an Xbox man for years but was talked into getting a PS5 as i travel a lot and it's easier to transport around.
In Jan 2026 I bought the new Black Ops 7 (zombies baby) to play with family and friends while I lived abroad.
And then when i booted up the game, ran into this screen:
And when i filled it out, got to this screen:
And I've been stuck there for 4 months. Activision support is unbelievably bad - they are answering me roughly weekly and telling me to switch emails or try new emails, or log out and back in - things like that. And every time get stuck back at this screen. Currently, they responded to me after 19 days telling me to remove my email address from my account and change it to a newly created email - it didnt work. That was almost a month ago with no response.
I am happy to pay $25 dollars to anyone who can help me.
I have spent hours and hours with ChatGPT running through as many options as i can and it seems to have given up haha. Full disclosure, I had my AI buddy give a list of things we have already tried which i will paste below.

What I’ve already tried
• Logging in via PlayStation (PSN: baileyhooser) multiple times
• Confirmed PSN login always resolves to Activision account:
baileyhooser#2762613 (child account)
• Completing the parental consent form repeatedly
• Captured network logs in Chrome DevTools
• Confirmed request:
PATCH https://xo-client.activision.com/vpc/v1/consent
returns HTTP 500 (Internal Server Error) every time
• Verified server JSON response shows backend failure (not client-side issue)
Environment testing
• Chrome (normal + incognito)
• Mobile browser on cellular (no WiFi)
• Different devices
• Different networks
→ Same result across all
Account / email troubleshooting
• Identified multiple Activision accounts:
- mbailey1560#6022789 (Outlook)
- mikeypalabra#9540592 (Gmail)
- baileyhooser#2762613 (PSN-linked child account)
• Followed Activision instructions to resolve email conflict:
- Changed email on mikeypalabra#9540592
- Freed original email
• Retried consent flow after freeing email → still HTTP 500
• Tried using completely different emails in consent form
Registration / identity tests
• Attempted to create brand-new Activision accounts with:
- New Gmail accounts
- New Atomic Mail accounts
• System returns “email already registered” even for new emails
• Password reset attempts return “unexpected error”
Login / access attempts
• Tried logging in directly via Activision site
• Tried logging in via PSN button (OAuth flow)
• Always redirected back to parental consent loop
• Cannot access account settings due to consent block
Deep debugging
• Captured HAR files from DevTools
• Confirmed backend 500 occurs after valid request payload
• Verified issue persists after email conflict was removed
Support actions
• Opened support case (over 6 weeks ongoing)
• Provided:
- failing endpoint
- HTTP 500 logs
- reproduction steps
- account IDs
• Followed all instructions given by support
• Filed BBB complaint
• Received response confirming email conflict → resolved it → issue still persists
Current state
• PSN account is locked to baileyhooser#2762613
• Account is stuck in parental consent loop
• Consent endpoint fails server-side (HTTP 500)
• Cannot access a paid game
What I need help with
Looking for:
• Any workaround to break the consent loop
• Any way to access or reset the hidden child account
• Any method to unlink PSN from this broken Activision account
