Curious what you guys think. I spent like $415 for a 16b drive. Came overnight. Seems to be from amazon's refurb themselves. I've bought all my drives from Amazon or amazon sellers, probably all refurbs. But usually their power on hours were 0. The current situation has made getting drives tough though. So far a day of straight transferring files (mostly redundancy rn to check for early failure). But I just noticed this has a 4.5 years of power on hours.
You think this is a concern? This is almost as old as my C drive, but that's a sata SSD.
I can't afford to have any kind of backup right now. I want to get a NAS, but that won't happen until 6 months at least, so I'm expecting a year with rawdogging this. Keep that in mind.
Power on count roughly matches my own server ironically. My C drive has 111 with 42k power on hours. So it seems to be similarly used as my old drives, and before this I had a bunch of externals that probably have about the same amount of wear... So it doesn't seem that bad...

I actually don't 100% hate the look of plex, but it's unusable for my use case.
Surely there's a way to sideload the old app. Does anyone have a link and a tutorial on how to get the old app back?

So I've been using plex to view custom made tv channels for the past year. However, with this update, it is now COMPLETELY unusable.
I noted multiple bugs with the new UI earlier, but it seems that after an undetermined time, usually less than 30 minutes, the playback freezes and a wall of text shows up. I doubt much can be done to help with this, but if you know anything I'm open to help.

Nice job plex devs, way to waste time on a broken update. And Live TV is such a bastard feature I see no fixes coming. Please for the love of god actually make meaningful updates over these waste of times.

So I downloaded an album but messed up and had a bunch of songs in the album that were just the whole album. I redownloaded the song and it plays right if I download the album or if I play on web player, but in this plex amp it's stuck playing the original file that was wrong.
I've tried clearing the playback cache... how do I force it to update the songs? Why is this not a setting to rescan?

So the video files are NOT bad. It's happened to so many different video files of different codecs and the like. Randomly will get corruption in the preview. Not sure if it shows up in the final render or not. But I have to edit it or take that version of the clip off the timeline and add a new one to fix it? Why is this happening?

GPU: RTX 5080

Using game ready driver because I also game on this PC.
I am going to try updating my drivers, but in the meantime, what else could cause this (I don't think the GPU is failing so no need to start talking hardware) and what is the shortcut to re-render a preview? I've been googling but not getting a straight answer.

I have this dumb issue where sometimes a mic input will cut out and I have to unplug and replug my mixamp. I also have issues where random other things with audio channels I might use otherwise will take over.
Can OBS PLEASE have something that pops up an alert saying "No audio" big when audio isn't detected before a stream or something. I just had a whole stream where good clips were ruined because I had no fucking audio.
