Want to do a couple high peaks in the ADK but not pay for hotels or rooms, I want to camp around or sleep in my car if I have to. Doable?
I have a lot of free time now, and was thinking about going to the Adirondacks for a month and just chilling, I want to summit a couple mountains, do some rock climbing, and see what's up before I head to washington state to do some glacier training.
Some advice on this gear I bought? I'm a beginner when it comes to backpacking and ultralight.

So that's currently my sleeping system, a little over 2k. I've been told it might be overkill but I have a bad spine, and I can't afford to carry a lot of weight like before, I'm trying to build an ultralight kit for my coming backpacking course. Also what are some other things you'd add? I have trekking poles for the tents, I just don't remember where I put them so I can't get the exact weight. Am I buying good quality stuff, or just paying for the brand?
My plan for this is go to and do backpacking in the Adirondacks and get ready for winter, I might also head to Washington state this summer and want to do a couple peaks there, I'm trying to buy the best I can possibly buy. Any help would be really appreciated.
I've been hiking here and there for the past few years, but lately I've been thinking about getting into backpacking, my plan is to head to the Adirondacks this summer and start there, and hopefully get enough experience to attempt a couple winter summits. Then head to Colorado to do a couple peaks there. Not sure if this would be a good kit, my friend has all his gear from Hyperlite and it's held on pretty good all these years, not sure if maybe there are other brands I should look into.
The reason why I'm going ultralight is because of my bad back, I can't afford to carry a lot of weight for 20+ miles. so I'm trying to go as light as possible.
Need some opinions on this, please. Thank you.
