Recently purchased a 3 bed + maids room townhouse villa in Dubai (central location, good area).

The front entry is a bit cramped. I was thinking of removing the maids room and pushing the wall back to open up the entry, while adding a very functional laundry room/storage room (pic attached).

I do not have children and no plan to have them and I am completing a whole home renovation - extension, new floors, new bathrooms and backyard pool.

Would removing the maids room and replacing with a well design laundry/storage room be a detraction when I go to sell in 5-7 years?
