Symptoms worsened when starting treatment/seeking a diagnosis?

I have had concerning signs of this condition since I was 19 (I am now 28), but I only learned about POTS in the last few months, and my doctor thinks I may have it. I had a surgery last month that seems to have triggered symptoms severe enough that I can no longer ignore, but I honestly have experienced it for way longer to a lesser degree. I have the tilt table test scheduled next week. Suddenly I am so debilitated by symptoms that I cannot work or drive. One thing that worries me is that despite starting electrolytes and compression garments, my condition seems to be worsening every day. shouldn't I be better with these things? This is assuming POTS is the condition I have. I just want to know if other POTS people have had similar experiences.

My symptoms, in case people are curious:

-episodes of nausea and hot flashes

-feeling faint all the time

-feel normal for 10 minutes when I wake up in the morning, and then feeling on the verge of passing out. I never actually faint.

-anything that involves bending over disorients me so badly.

-tunnel vision and blurriness

-heart rate goes from 80 to 110-130 upon sitting up or standing and stays like that

-electrolytes help with the high heart rate but do not ease the fatigue or faint feeling

-out of breath from any physical activity

-spaced out all the time

Can empty nose syndrome cause POTS/dysautonomia?

Please, my heart rate has been 110-140 basically all the time since my septoplasty/turbinate reduction, especially when standing or sitting up. It has been literal hell for nearly 4 weeks since I got the surgery. I am really anxious. I feel out of breath all the time even though there is no blockage/I can breathe fine. Sometimes I notice that I stop breathing completely, and I don't know if this is due to anxiety or my autonomic nervous system freaking out over breathing. I am getting tested for POTS soon. I had the heart rate issue and fatigue since before the surgery, but feeling out of breath is kind of new for me.

I am terrified that this is ENS. I should never have let them touch my turbinates, but here we are.
