When to start looking for August, near Mag Mile?

Hi, I’ve been looking for studios near Mag Mile (any neighborhood, just need to walk to NBC Tower) ideally <$2000 but everything is July at the latest…have they all been snatched up, or are they not listed yet?

Also sanity check: is $2000 for a studio in this area realistic?

Just last week an agent told me their bldg had 4 studios/1 beds for August and by the time I sent in my application 2 days later they said they were gone. Could they be lying? The bldg is popular w students so maybe there was a list but that spooked me.

Early career masters or later MBA?

I got into finance masters at Booth, Kellogg, CBS, Yale SOM but I’m wondering if I should go at all.

I’m a US citizen about to graduate with a degree in computer science from an unremarkable state school. 330 GRE and 3.9 GPA.

Financially is it better to do an early masters and hope I get into my career goal of either real estate or asset allocation, OR work at a small business as a data analyst making $50k and then do an MBA for the structured recruiting?

I wouldn’t have debt for the masters but it might cost more than an MBA with scholarship. However, do T15 MBAs give much scholarship if they even admit random data analysts?

Would a top MBA even accept my profile in that case? Would a role like data analyst need to work 5 yrs? Do family offices, RE, and allocators hire from MBA? And do those roles or IB hire from unexceptional backgrounds like mine would be?

Thank you in advance, I appreciate any advice.
