I’ve been trying to figure out how to turn my ceiling fan on for so long now. Here are some things I’ve tried and some information.
It has no strings to pull and no switches on the wall to turn the fan on. So I’m assuming it’s remote controlled. I found the receiver and got the dip stick code and tried on the only remote we have in the house still and it doesn’t work (remote battery is good). I also tried every single combination possible…
On the fan motor housing (I’m guessing) I see the model number that says “HLC52-B-WH” when I look it up, I get fans which look nothing like mine. So either Google is lying to me, the fan is discontinued, or I’m a dumbass. The only way I currently use the fan is for the light (via switch on wall).
I’ve attached some pictures of the fan. Please let me know if anyone has any ideas.
