So I want to play dispatch but it’s rated 18+. Is it really that bad? And can you toggle it off?

So I want to get into Assasins creed but don’t know where to start. I know there is this trilogy but I would rather not start with Assasins creed 2 because it’s pretty old. I heard black flag is supposed to be good, but if I like the game I will probably play the others too. So can I start black flag without playing any other?
