I finally unsubscribed to grammarly

I'm finally done with grammarly. Before the update, you could just look at the suggestions and decide what to fix. Now there’s this huge AI feature built into everything, and honestly, it makes the whole thing frustrating to use. Sometimes I just want to check a sentence's grammar, but the interface keeps pushing rewrites instead.

Another really annoying problem is that it doesn’t work consistently across websites. It works in Word, for example, but then it won’t show up in Pages at all for me. Sometimes, if you’re writing directly on a website, it just completely disappears and becomes unusable.

I’ve put up with that for a long time because I started using Grammarly back when I was a student, and it genuinely helped a lot, but great heavens, I am done with it. It used to have such considerate customer support. I remember being a broke college student with my card overdrawn, and the customer support even refunded it. Now it's difficult to even find the unsubscribe button. I've always only had such positive things to say about this product, but not anymore. Goodbye Grammarly.

alumni trying to send gift to prof

Hello, I graduated roughly a year ago, and I never really got the chance to say goodbye properly due to senior year arrangements. I've been busy with work and stuff but now that things have settled down a little I felt more equipped to do this (I was a bit in a slump in my last year). So I guess I just want to send something like a card or some small gifts as a token of thanks. I still think about their classes a lot. However, I have already lost my UCSB email, and I don't know if I can get in contact with them. I can still find their office details on the department website though, and I want to send them stuff abroad. If I send it to the address listed there, would they be able to receive it? I'm probably going to have to use DHL or EMS. Anyone who knows how this might work? Any response greatly appreciated.
