Cnc help

Haven't got my snap maker yet I bought a used a350 as a side project to design and set up a brushless spindle for it. So I have a plate in the white I would like to have cut out from 1.5 mm carbon fiber I have the right Mill I have all the speeds and feeds that should work I'm just having some issues with the software setting up that cut instead of just machining out all the blue area I just want to do a perimeter cut and then the four tabs in the center machine those down to .5mm.

Can anyone point me in the right direction or give me some quick tips for the most recent software.

Scanning help.

I have a Revo point Metro y pro along with the Revo point design pro software. I have a 1.5 mm thick slot car chassis that's aluminum it's anodized black I'm trying to scan it by issue is I'm not getting very good scans I've used the Revo point spray is there any way for me to get better scans I've tried all the different settings for the different scans this is my first 3D scanner. Are there any little tips on how to get better results I've looked at some starter guides but I haven't found anything that really works for me yet
